"Dionne Webster Is On The Case"

I would like to thank Dionne Webster for taking time out to talk to The Grind Magazine about her background, let's get right into the interview,

Tell our readers about your origin story and your major accomplishments that mean the most to you as you have built your brand, business or career.

I would have to say my origin, as it pertains to me identifying as a Psychic Medium, began during my time in the military. I was known as the “therapist” of the office because everyone wanted to come sit and ask for advice. Unbeknownst to them, the advice I was giving was channeled guidance from their spirit team, commonly called guardian angels. When I retired, I thought, what better way to continue hiding my gifts than to become a Counselor. While I loved counseling and mentoring young adults, it took a toll on me not being my true self.  So, what did I do? I bet on myself! I quit my job and cried myself to sleep. Best decision I ever made.

Since then I’ve been asked to speak for national organizations, and have been featured on podcasts, the radio, in magazines, and now The Grind! And this is just over the course of a year!

As a subject matter expert in your field is there any relative information and tips that you can advise our readers about that we need to be more aware of?

I believe one of the biggest things I see as I help others with their path ahead is the perception of themselves. A lot of heartache and disharmony that we go through in life can feel as if it's happening to us. The reality is that our inner world reflects our outer world. We are powerful beings but too often we give our power away to external factors or other people. Rewrite your core beliefs about yourself and act on those new beliefs, watch as the magic happens. Positive thoughts always, be gentle with how you speak to yourself. There will always be trials & tribulations but holding gratitude through those difficult moments keeps you in the right energy providing growth. And as we all know, through discomfort comes growth.

How do you unwind and relax? Are there any hobbies or interests you have?

I love to unwind and relax by getting together with my close friends over dinner. Outside of that… sitting in pajamas on my bed while folding clothes and binging a good show. There's something therapeutic for me in folding clothes. I’m also the co-founder of Run the World, Women’s Empowerment. What started off as a hobby quickly became another business. We love bringing  women together to support each other’s small businesses and to provide a safe space to make connections.

Where do you see yourself within the next year and what motivates you to achieve that goal(s)?

My ultimate goal is to have a show highlighting me providing Mediumship to others. But as far as the next year goes, I would have to say I would like to work more missing persons’ cases. At the end of the day, I just love providing closure to families and being a vessel for their loved ones that have passed to communicate with them. Being contracted in this capacity is definitely a goal.

Are there any lessons learned that you would pass on to anyone pursuing their dream, goal, life achievement or bouncing back from a setback?

It’s said Walt Disney was denied by 301 banks before receiving a yes. When you feel that calling to act on a dream or goal you do it. When you sit back and reflect on how hard you go at the job working for someone else to live their dream… you realize that it's important to never give up on your own dreams or goals. I’ve also learned that setbacks are temporary and oftentimes they’re only as important as the emphasis you place on them. Visualize your highest goal, work at it and do it consistently.

Are there any events, promotions, new releases or projects that you would like to tell our readers about that may be approaching in the next couple of months?

Yes! As I mentioned my dream is to have a show where I can perform mediumship. To start I will begin filming for my YouTube and displaying the mediumship session.
